Zero is only the beginning. This short room shows you how every room on RangeZero works.
Task 1 How a room works
Every room covers one topic and is split into tasks. A task explains something, then asks one or more questions about it.
- Guided rooms teach: read the task, try it yourself, answer the questions.
- Challenge rooms test: you get a target and a goal, and nobody holds your hand.
Paths move from guided rooms to challenges as you level up, from 00 Orientation to 50 Mastery.
Task 2 Answers and flags
Every question is answered with a flag: a short piece of text that proves you did the work.
Some flags are plain answers, like the name of a command. Others look like this:
RZ{zero_is_only_the_beginning}
Flags you find inside a lab machine are unique to your launch, so sharing them doesn't help anyone.
Some answers are case-sensitive, so type them exactly. The grey mask under a question, such as
RZ{****_**_****}, shows the shape of the answer.
